Storage Networking World: iStor Networks Debuts integraStor Family Of iSCSI Solutions At Storage Networking World 2007

iStor Networks, Inc., a leader in high performance iSCSI solutions, recently extends its trademark price/performance value proposition with the introduction of the integraStor family of products. The integraStor storage arrays will debut at Storage Networking World (SNW), the world's largest storage networking industry event, of which iStor is a contributing sponsor.

"iStor is building upon the success of the iS325 iSCSI storage appliance by introducing to the SMB market a new series of products that provides a wide range of capabilities that have been traditionally associated only with enterprise-class environments," said Kevin Daly, CEO of iStor Networks. "All of the products in the integraStor family leverage the unique intellectual property and price/performance that has made the iS325 successful, and expands it to address a much wider set of environments. We can now address the full range of SMB environments as well as distributed data centers, remote office/back office and other complex environments. All customers implementing iSCSI-based storage area networks will find the integraStor delivers compelling ROI."

The integraStor family is ideal for applications including both primary and tiered storage. Scaling from single boxes to multi-chassis 100 TB array solutions, the integraStor offers snapshot, continuous data protection (CDP) and high availability (HA) technologies. iStor will introduce the first integraStor product, the iS5-Series, at SNW. The iS512 is a scalable RAID solution with 8 GbE iSCSI ports, 2 MiniSAS expansion ports and up to 4GB of data cache per controller, SAS & SATA support and HA-ready technology based on iStor's flagship 10 million-gate System-on-a-Chip and intelligent storage virtualization stack. General availability begins December 2007.

"End-users within SMBs are experiencing the pain associated with the storage, management, and protection of their digital assets, and they are seeking to integrate the benefits of networked storage with familiar protocols," said Brad Nisbet, Program Manager with IDC. "iSCSI will be an appropriate choice for many organizations, and is poised to become one of the fastest growing segments in the storage industry, growing from $558 million in 2006 to over $6 billion in 2011."

iStor will also demonstrate solutions from key partners in its SNW exhibit. Infrastructure optimization & advanced data protection solutions will feature the integraStor with CDP software from InMage Systems and automated provisioning of storage using Microsoft Virtual Disk Service (VDS). New software enhancements such as these add the latest in data protection and ease of management to iStor's existing fully featured management interface and superior iSCSI performance.

Storage Networking World takes place October 15-18th, 2007 at the Gaylord Texan Resort Hotel and Convention Center in Dallas. The iStor exhibit and demo will be located at booth #C23.
