Neverfail Powers High Availability For AVST's CallXpress 8
Neverfail, a leading global software company providing affordable continuous availability and disaster recovery solutions, recently announced a new OEM licensing agreement with unified communications solution provider Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST). Under the terms of the agreement, AVST will OEM Neverfail technology to provide high availability and disaster recovery for system server components in CallXpress 8, the latest version of AVST's unified communications platform. The news was announced recently at VoiceCon Orlando 2009 and follows Neverfail's recently announced OEM deal with VMware that incorporates Neverfail's high availability and failover protection into VMware vCenter Server Heartbeat, a new VMware server virtualization product.
CallXpress is a suite of unified communications applications that provides users with single number / single mailbox capabilities and enables users to manage their voice, fax and e-mail messages from any location at any time via the device of their choice, including laptop, telephone, cell phone or the Internet. With Neverfail, AVST provides CallXpress users with robust protection from system downtime and interruption, ensuring maximum productivity for businesses and individuals.
