The Netra st A1000 array offers high availability with a built-in hardware RAID controller, while the Netra st D1000 array provides high density and low cost per megabyte in a Just a Bunch of Disks (JBOD) array.

Netra™ st A1000 and D1000 carrier-grade arrays support up to 436 gigabytes (GB) of storage in a 4U rack-mountable form factor. Built on the successful Sun StorEdge™ A1000 and D1000, the Netra st A1000 and Netra st D1000 arrays provide the flexibility, reliability, and performance you expect from Sun.

The Netra st A1000 array offers high availability with a built-in hardware RAID controller, while the Netra st D1000 array provides high density and low cost per megabyte in a Just a Bunch of Disks (JBOD) array. Both arrays are Telcordia Technologies NEBS Level 3 Certified for reliable operation in extreme conditions, and their rugged metal enclosures reduce fire and electrical interference. Redundant, hot-swap components make the arrays easy to service while online, and a choice of AC or DC power and rackmount options make the arrays ideal for deployment in telco and Internet application environments.
