Designed to support multimedia applications and accommodate both LTO and SDLT tape technologies, the NEO 8000 provides access of up to 1,000 TB* of storage at over 22 TB/hour.*

Overland makes managing your library more convenient by providing remote management capability with Overland’s WebTLC technology. WebTLC, a remote library management tool embedded in the NEO, allows you to securely view and manage the library and all of its functions from any location that’s convenient for you via an internet browser. The NEO 8000’s programmable, touch-screen graphical user interface ensures simple, clear interaction between the library and the user for setup, diagnostics and library operations.

Flexible Connectivity
Regardless of whether your data center storage applications require SCSI, Gigabit Ethernet or Fibre Channel connectivity to optimize performance, The NEO 8000 has the solution that’s right for you. Utilizing Overland’s VIA (Virtual Interface Architecture) technology, your network or SAN can easily communicate with the NEO 8000 tape library, by using one or more of the VIA cards installed in the unit’s rear-panel card cages.
