Protect Your Data
No matter how large your data center is or how fast it’s growing, NEO Series 4000 libraries provide a powerful combination of capacity and speed to ensure that your data center is reliably protected. The NEO Series 4100 (the smallest model of the NEO 4000) packs up to 31.2 TB capacity and over 1 TB/hr. of performance in just 10U of rack space. The NEO 4400 (our largest model) fills a rack with up to 124.8 TB of capacity and 4.1 TB/hr. of performance – giving you the flexibility to meet a variety of data storage needs.

Accomodate Complex Networking Environments
NEO 4000 libraries deliver superior storage network interoperability, ensuring seamless operation in storage area networks (SANs). NEO V.I.A.™ (Virtual Interface Architecture) interface cards are available for Fibre Channel or Gigabit Ethernet connectivity providing the increased performance, reliability and useability required by advanced storage networking architecture.

Minimize Costly Downtime
NEO’s rock-solid, field-proven architecture delivers superior reliability, availability and manageability, eliminating costly downtime in your data center. Features such as NEO’s LiveSwap ™ tape drives and removable, redundant power supplies allow removal/replacement without interrupting the SCSI bus and/or power source, assuring that your backup/restore system is providing nonstop operation. NEO’s remote fail-over capability lets you remotely transfer control from one module to another and make sure your backup/restore is up and running as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Built-in diagnostic capabilities let NEO proactively monitor and manage your backup and restore procedures and notify you via emails and pages with library status, minimizing costly downtime. NEO’s patented mail-slot design allows you to reconfigure car-tridges within the library without disrupting operation and violating the security of the library.

Protect Your Investment
NEO 4000 libraries also scale to meet your future data storage needs. As your data expands, NEO 4000 libraries easily grow with it. Simply add 52-slot or 60-slot modules to your existing NEO 4000 library to instantly and affordably increase your capacity and performance by up to 4 times, while protecting your original library investment. Upgrade to higher performance, next-generation tape drive technologies by simply sliding out existing drives and replacing them with higher performance drives.

Maximize Use of Valuable Resources
NEO 4000 libraries maximize your resources by affordably providing quick, reliable backups/restores. Features such as WebTLC™, which allows any authorized personnel to remotely manage your NEO 4000 library from anywhere in the world, make the NEO 4000 easy to use and operate. NEO’s LPO™ (Library Partitioning Option) lets you partition the library into several smaller libraries, providing multi-server access and allowing you to provide convenient operation and allocate the cost of the library across the entire data center. Components such as drives, power supplies, controllers and interface cards are easily removed, reducing support and service costs.

Compatibility to Keep You Connected
NEO 4000 libraries are supported on all major operating systems including HP-UX, IBM AIX, Linux Mac OS, Novell NetWare, SCO UNIX, Sun Solaris, Tru64 UNIX, Windows NT/2000 and more.
