Minimize Costly Downtime
The NEO 2000 tape library sets the standard for high availability by which all other libraries should be compared. Features such as NEO’s LiveSwap™ tape drives and removable power supplies allow removal/replacement without interrupting the SCSI bus and/or power source, assuring that your backup/restore system is providing non-stop operation. NEO’s remote fail-over capability lets you remotely transfer control from one module to another and make sure your backup/restore is up and running as quickly and seamlessly as possible.

NEO 2000 is designed to help you keep pace with your rapidly expanding data. Each module has 26 (SDLT) or 30 (LTO) cartridge slots and up to 2 tape drives, providing up to 15.6 TB of capacity and 489.6 GB/hr. of performance (see datasheet for details). NEO 2000 lets you spend for the present but plan for the future. There’s no need to throw out the old and bring in the new when your capacity or performance needs change... simply add NEO 2000 modules to your existing module, and easily increase your capacity and performance by up to 8 times, protecting your original library investment and increasing your capacity and performance as needed.

NEO’s LPO™ (Library Partitioning Option) feature provides multi-server access, allowing you to allocate the cost of the library across the entire data center and provide convenient operation. Components such as drives, power supplies, controllers and interface cards are easily removed, reducing support and service costs. NEO’s compact size provides superior density and minimizes the use of costly data center space.
