This documented history protects organizations from the loss of knowledge resulting from events such as operational errors, system failures, or changes in personnel. ISOdx collects and documents system and application configurations across platforms to provide a comprehensive view of your environment over time. Access to this information is provided through a centralized web portal to ensure availability even in the event that your corporation's entire IT network is unavailable. HOW DOES ISOdx WORK?
ISOdx is a combination of hardware, software, Internet, and security technologies operating as a managed service. This approach eliminates the need for customers to burden themselves with maintaining hardware, managing a software application, dealing with performance issues, and installing software upgrades. In addition to executing the initial installation and configuration of ISOdx, Cranel performs software and configuration updates without requiring any interaction by the customer. The ISOdx Collector is placed in the customer location and hardened to ensure that it is
not accessible by internal or external personnel, and only receives information from those servers that the customer designates. ISOdx never collects customer business data. The Collector sends snapshots to the data warehouse at Cranel – via the Internet – using 1024-bit (SSL) encryption and public/private key technology. Keys are rotated and changed hourly to ensure total snapshot security.
