Infortrend Announces MPIO Drivers For Its RAID Storage Systems

RAID storage expert Infortrend® today announced that MPIO driver programs are now available for its EonStor® RAID storage subsystems. As a participant in the Microsoft® Multi-path I/O (MPIO) driver program, Infortrend has developed its own set of drivers to facilitate running the MPIO solution on a variety of their RAID storage subsystems. Installing this MPIO driver program extends redundancy to the entire I/O path to deliver load balancing, fault tolerance, and high availability storage solutions.

"Infortrend's redundant controller configurations coupled with MPIO delivers true end-to-end resilience and high performance to users."

Infortrend's MPIO driver is designed for use with the EonStor product lines including its Fibre-to-Fibre, Fibre-to-SATA and iSCSI-to-SATA series of RAID subsystems or disk array systems using EonRAID 2510FS controller head.

These MPIO drivers support Windows 2003 X86 and 64-bit editions and are currently shipping with the following EonStor products. MPIO drivers for other systems will be announced as they become available.
