Get Off The Backup Band-Aid Bandwagon

All IT shops fall, more or less, into one of three categories:

• All backup, archive and disaster recovery problems have been solved and are scalable for the foreseeable future. As you can imagine, few shops exist entirely within this realm.
• Some items of backup, archive and disaster recovery are reasonably well in hand, but there are still significant challenges in many areas. Most shops are within this realm.
