All FalconStor products are deployed on the FalconStor Network Storage Server (NSS), powered by FalconStor IPStor software, to strengthen its storage capacity.

FalconStor NSS provisions virtual disks to hosts via Fibre Channel, iSCSI, or InfiniBand, providing enterprise-class performance, compatibility, reliability, and heterogeneous storage management. The FalconStor products are SAN-based application-aware snapshot data protection solutions.

The Windows-based solutions allow users to gain fast email and database recovery through best practice optimized recovery in any scenario. The products offered by FalconStor, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, that have been newly Certified for Windows Server 2008 include:

• FalconStor Message Recovery for Microsoft Exchange - Customers are able to recover individual email messages, mailboxes,mailbox databases, or entire Exchange server farms quickly and with no performance impact to servers or end-users, for continuous data protection and business application availability.
• FalconStor Snapshot Agents for Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SQL server - Customers are able to facilitate snapshot operations of Exchange messaging data and SQL server data with full transactional integrity. Working in conjunction with the full suite of capacity management and data availability and recovery services provided by IPStor technology, the integrated solution minimizes planned and unplanned interruption to email and database servers while providing snapshot-based data services such as asynchronous replication from data center to data center, near-line disk-based backup/recovery, fast database duplication via snapshot-copying, and full/incremental/differential block-level email database backup which assists in migration lab testing as well as production roll-back planning.
• DynaPath Agent - Performs Fibre Channel and/or iSCSI HBA transparent failover and fail-back services for the application server it is running. If an I/O path between storage and the application server fails, the DynaPath agent leverages Microsoft Multipath I/O technology, maintaining availability via intelligent re-routing of data.
