Emtec Federal To Deliver HP PC Blades To U.S. Federal Government
CHANTILLY, Va. --(Business Wire)-- Emtec Federal (OTCBB:ETEC), an information technology systems and services company, today announced that it has teamed with HP to deliver HP PC Blades to the Federal government. Building on its 25-year relationship with HP delivering products and services to the federal government, Emtec Federal will resell and deliver the design, architecture, implementation, and installation services of HP-manufactured and warranted PC blades.
HP PC Blades allow government organizations to centralize desktop computer and storage resources into easily managed, highly secure data centers, while providing a customizable, dedicated computing experience to users. This creates a fully functional PC on an end-user's desk while simultaneously allowing organizations to maintain secure control, reduce time needed for distribution of applications, simplify management and decrease maintenance costs. These benefits make the solution ideal for customers in classified environments, foreign-based users, seat management infrastructures, and Continuity of Operations (COOP) programs.
