C-4 Priority: Manage IT!

Managing IT infrastructure, anyone will tell you, is a pain in the proverbial tuccus. Your options are pretty limited.

You can use the element managers that come with each product you purchase and traverse your environment, CD/DVD holder in hand — like Robin Hood with his quiver of arrows — to try to find the cause of whatever application problem a user has reported and rectify it.

Alternatively, you can use some third-party resource management wares to sift through a more comprehensive imaging of your server-network-storage complex to try to spot problems with capacity, configuration, or load.
