AuraGen Technologies AuraStar IPSAN (1GbE/10GbE)

The AuraStar IPSAN is a highly-integrated storage controller solution with a highly-integrated 10GbE iSNP8008 at the heart of the product providing high-performance, feature-rich, cost-effective iSCSI RAID. The AuraStar IPSAN (1GbE/10GbE) offers, features such as media protection, caching, redundancy, end-to-end data protection, and RAID. Serial ATA disk channels enable compelling block-based networked storage solutions such as near line storage, disk-to-disk backup, DAS replacement along with high-capacity, cost-effective primary storage. Each AuraStar IPSAN storage controller can support up to 16 Serial ATA disk drive interfaces assuring data integrity with Diskline and Micro Rebuilds.

1GbE
AuraStar iSCSI has a standard ATX Form Factor product. It will enable the capability to provide a very robust iSCSI Subsystem Controller to meet the entry level requirements moving to small/medium business. The Base Technology will provide for 8 port iSCSI capability, with up to 16 port ATA connectivity, up to 4 GB of cache memory, RAID 0,1,10,5 and JBOD.

10GbE
As part of the AuraStar iSCSI family, the 10GbE capable product is in the ATX form factor base, but this product enables the move to the 10GbE performance with the future technology enablers. One 10GbE, up to 4 GB of cache memory, RAID 0,1,10,5 and JBOD, enclosure management as enabler. First introduction of the product will be SATA I.
