Toigo Partners International is an IT consulting, research, training and testing firm with an international presence. We have been called "business IT's consumer advocate and industry watchdog" because of our focus on cost-containment, risk reduction and top line growth for our clients – regardless of the "fit" of our recommendations to vendor objectives. Our mission objective is to help our clients derive strategic business value from IT investments. We believe that purpose-building infrastructure using manageable and standards-based components, and combining business-savvy data management practices, are the real keys to business success as decision-makers confront the challenges posed by the current business climate.

In addition to our client work, Toigo Partners also builds on-line communities both to educate and to network together business and IT professionals. We have "signature sites" around issues such as disaster recovery planning, storage management, enterprise management, archive management and IT operations "greening." We will shortly launch two new sites covering security management and compliance management.

Our flagship community site is the Data Management Institute. DMI is dedicated to improving the professional skills and knowledge of those who create, manage, and protect business information assets. Through DMI, we publish briefings on technology subjects and provide on-line instruction covering data management, data security, and data protection. Nearly 7000 members, representing a global mix of large and smaller firms, have sat for DMI training programs and are credentialed through the Institute.

Toigo Partners and the Data Management Institute also convene Strategic Summits periodically to help business and IT practitioners develop strategic approaches for coping with new challenges. The next event, called the C-4 Summit, will take place in Tampa, FL in early February. C-4 stands for cost-containment, compliance, continuity and carbon footprint reduction (green IT): four issues that have made their way to the front office to become part of the agenda of boards of directors and senior management. The C-4 Summit is a free, two-day, strategy session that will feature some of the brightest minds in business and technology today.
