IP SAN: iStor Networks integraStor® iS512
The integraStor iS512 solution provides cost-effective, high-performance, enterprise-class features to distributed data centers. iS512 is an integrated storage system with choice of drives and memory which successfully extends iStor's renowned feature rich, price/performance, energy efficient ('Green') iSCSI RAID storage solutions for IP Storage Area Networks (SANs).
iS512 extends its unique host performance bandwidth to iS512-SX expansion arrays enabling high performance capacity expansion. The iS512 combines 8 ports of GbE for host connectivity (4x most competitors) with two separate ports of SAS expansion per controller (2x competitive performance). This unique iS512 combination provides scalability without loss of performance. Both the iS512 & iS512-SX 2U chassis support up to 12 drives. The iS512 supports up to two expansion units (iS512-SX) per system controller for a total of 36 high performance, high-capacity SAS or SATA drives. iS512 offers compelling block-based network storage solutions for primary, tiered, and nearline storage applications.
