While IT plays a major role in all phases of Cornerstone operations, backup and restore are the most important elements in safeguarding customer information. Unfortunately, the company's previous tape system wasn't meeting Cornerstone's needs, particularly with 50 percent annual data growth.
"It took us 48 hours to back up all our data and backups failed to complete on time every other week," said Alex Trouchine, IT manager at Cornerstone.
